AGE OF REMAINS, REFERENCE TO SPECIFIC DATING TECHNIQUES
Radiocarbon dating was used in order to identify how old the remains of Tollund Man really were. Radiocarbon dating is a method of estimating an objects/persons age by measuring how many carbon 14 atoms are present in the bones of the object or human. After using this technique scientists came to the conclusion that Tollund Man died in approximately 375-210 BC.
